Aidea Indonesia Embraces the Digital Era with Cutting-Edge 3D Animation

Since its founding in 2011, Aidea Indonesia (PT Aidea Media Kreasi) has evolved from a traditional TV commercial production house into a creative powerhouse delivering high-quality digital content—especially in 2D and 3D animation.

In the first half of 2025, the Jakarta-based production company completed several standout 3D animation projects. Among them, a short animated film for Bank BRI focused on financial literacy for young adults. The story follows a relatable character navigating everyday money challenges. Aidea’s team crafted the visuals using Maya and Blender, creating expressive character animations, vibrant backgrounds, and a tone that blended humor with real-world insight. The client praised the result, stating the video “felt less like a lecture and more like a story worth watching.”

Another notable collaboration was with UNICEF Indonesia. Aidea created a fully animated explainer video to support a campaign on early childhood nutrition and vaccinations. The visuals combined motion graphics with subtle emotional storytelling, increasing online engagement by 2x compared to previous campaigns. UNICEF used the video across its social media platforms and during community workshops in rural areas.

Technically, Aidea’s team followed a full animation pipeline: storyboarding, modeling, rigging, animating, and rendering—all handled in-house. Their use of Adobe After Effects for visual effects and DaVinci Resolve for post-color grading helped push the final quality to international standards.

Aidea’s work received recognition at Citra Pariwara 2024, where they won Silver in the Film Craft (Animation) category for their BRI campaign. The award cemented their place as a serious player in Southeast Asia’s animation scene.
